Our History
The Wellness Haven was founded by a Registered Nurse (Tee) in September 2016. It was the need for medical detox by trained medical professionals that led to the the birth of the private medical detox "The Wellness Haven".
With addiction being such an understated problem, it is sadly affecting many lives of people in our community.
Tee, is a highly qualified RN with 5+ years of experience in addiction/psychiatric nursing. She is a client advocate who empowers clients by delivering health education and medical care that enhances wellness and quality of life. Her style of work is professional, meticulous, organised, evidence-based and most of all committed to the best outcome for clients and their families.
The Wellness Haven provides private medical detox from alcohol, cannabis, methamphetamine and opiates which is the first important step towards preparing for your recovery journey.
The Wellness Haven private medical detox ensures your health and medical needs alongside psychological and spiritual needs. We prepare you physically and psychologically as you enter into a Rehabilitation Program.

Our mission is to provide the best outcome for our client and their families. The Wellness Haven strives to achieve the mission by working in collaboration with the client, their families and GP.
We aim to provide comprehensive assessments for Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Mental Health in order to determine the best outcome for clients and their families.
During the detox period, our aim is to provide all medical, psychological and spiritual needs along with a safe and serene environment in order to allow the mind and body to heal and prepare for their recovery journey.
